Up here it's quiet. You hear the light thrum of the chairlift at your back, a slight breeze wisps by, cold and clear. It carries the tinkle of laughter from a pack of kids down below. It's sunny and crystal clear today, and before you drop in, you take a moment to breathe, to hear the quiet. You needed this.

You need Solitude.

Solitude feels different than other resorts...feels looser, less crowded somehow. The mountain's layout is a tantalizing buffet of green, blue and black runs.

Season dates: December 2, 2017 - April 15, 2018 conditions permitting

Whenever friends back East ask me the best time to plan a ski trip to Utah, my answer is always the same: “If you need to plan ahead, come anytime in March.”
