Up here it's quiet. You hear the light thrum of the chairlift at your back, a slight breeze wisps by, cold and clear. It carries the tinkle of laughter from a pack of kids down below. It's sunny and crystal clear today, and before you drop in, you take a moment to breathe, to hear the quiet. You needed this.

You need Solitude.

Solitude feels different than other resorts...feels looser, less crowded somehow. The mountain's layout is a tantalizing buffet of green, blue, and black runs.

Located in Big Cottonwood Canyon, Utah, the resort offers eight chairlifts, 80 runs, three bowls, and 500 annual inches of snow spread over 1,200 acres of skiing and snowboarding.

Season dates: December 1, 2018 - April 14, 2019 conditions permitting

Winter Dining

This winter, dine on the mountain and in Solitude Village. With a choice of 10 unique dining experiences, there is something for every palate. Take in the mountain views on the decks at Honeycomb Grill or Last Chance Southwest Grill. Indulge in a buffet-style dinner at St. Bernard's or snowshoe through a lantern-lit forest to the famed Yurt at Solitude.

Be sure stop for lunch at our on-mountain Himalayan Hut, the Roundhouse, for some curry fries, saag paneer, and beer on the sunniest deck at Solitude.

After a long day on the slopes, grab a slice of pizza or an ice cream cone at Stone Haus Pizzeria & Creamery, or enjoy an après drink at the Thirsty Squirrel, Library Bar, or Argenta Pub.

Spa Days Are For The Boys

Posted By: Nick Como, March 17, 2019

I don’t know why it hadn’t dawned on me until this season, but I’ve been doing the massage/spa treatment game all wrong. I was lucky enough to sample the Refresh package as Solitude Mountain Spa, and I realized: the Spa treats skiers and snowboarders all the time
