Solitude’s avalanche rescue dogs provide a life-saving service to our guests and the surrounding community. These highly-trained canines specialize in search and rescue, always ready in case of avalanche emergencies across the Wasatch Front. Come watch some of their training drills, conducted at Apex Express chairlift, where Solitude's avalanche rescue dogs and their ski patrol handlers practice seeking out volunteers buried in the snow.
