Valid Lift Ticket or Season Pass Required
Explore the flora and fauna of Solitude on a guided hike to scenic Lake Solitude.
Meet at the bridge near the Village pond at 10:15 a.m. The group will then ride the Sunrise chairlift up the mountain. After riding Sunrise, hike a pleasant mile to the lake. Stop along the way to look for wildlife and discuss the surroundings. Hikers often see pikas, marmots, and deer along the trail — and occasionally moose. Wildflowers are plentiful, and the fall colors are not to be missed.
The tour is free, but a valid lift ticket or season pass is required. Please wear hiking shoes or other sturdy footwear for travel on mountain trails.
